If you are a chocolate fan, you definitely have to try this delicious sweet treat that will immediately be your favorite. Let’s see the necessary ingredients for 12 regular-sized muffins:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 5 oz (150 g) dark chocolate chips, chopped
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of butter[/item[item]2/3 cup (160 ml) of milk
  • 6 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract or vanilla essence
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder


  • Preparing this delicious cake will be fast and simple. First of all preheat the oven to 350°F degrees. In a large bowl mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, salt, baking soda and milk, adding the eggs in the center. Whist the mixture until it is smooth.

    In a microwave resistant bowl melt together the chopped dark chocolate and the butter. Cream the chocolate, stirring constantly, until it becomes smooth.
    Set aside and let it cool a little bit then pour this melted chocolate on the first mixture, making sure that the batter is smooth and the chocolate is distributed properly.
    Line trays with muffin cups and pour one large tablespoon (or two, depending on how do you like them) of muffin mixture in the cups, filling them about half full.

    Sprinkle with the remaining chocolate chips and then bake them for about 20 minutes.
    You can easily check if your pastry is ready by inserting a toothpick in the middle and if it comes out clean, then your muffins can be taken out of the oven.
