To recreate this delicious recipe you will need:

  • 1box of vanilla wafers or lady fingers

  • 5 tablespoons instant coffee

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine

  • 1 tablespoon hot water

  • 24 oz cream cheese

  • 8 oz mascarpone

  • 4 eggs

  • 2 tablespoons liquor

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup whipped topping

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

  • Preparation:
Take a pan (9 inch springform) and apply half of the vanilla wafers to cover the bottom of the pan. Apply using a cooking brush half of the mixture created by the 2 tablespoons of coffee, melted margarine and liquor.
Put the cream cheese, mascarpone and sugar in a bowl and use a mixer to stir the ingredients well until a homogenous composition is created. Add 1 egg at a time, mix the remaining coffee with the tablespoon of water and add it to the composition.
Remove some of the mixture, leaving some to cover the cake. Place the mixture over the vanilla wafers you already placed in the pan. Layer the remaining wafers over and brush the coffee/liquor/butter mixture over them and apply the remaining ingredient mixture over the wafers.

Bake the cake in a preheated oven around 300ºF until the center is almost done. Take the pan out and using a knife separate the edges of the cake from the pan. Allow the pan to cool and remove it's edge. Spread the cool whipped topping and sprinkle some cocoa powder over it. Put the cake into the refrigerator for at least 5 hours and enjoy your delicious homemade Tiramisu cheesecake.
